Hialeah Mayor Announces Plan to Rename Street in Honor of Donald Trump

During a rally in Hialeah, Florida, Mayor Esteban “Steve” Bovo revealed his intention to propose renaming a street in the city after former President Donald Trump. Speaking at the Ted Hendricks Stadium, Bovo expressed gratitude for Trump’s commitment to the nation’s residents, drawing cheers from the crowd.

Bovo announced his plan to seek approval from the Hialeah City Council for renaming a street after Trump. “I will be asking next week, the city council of Hialeah… to authorize and vote affirmatively as we name the street after you, Donald Trump Way,” Bovo declared, prompting applause from the audience. He presented Trump with a symbolic street sign that read “President Donald J. Trump Avenue.”

Trump, who is a Florida resident, graciously accepted the honor. The former president continues to enjoy strong support in the state, leading with 56.5% of voters, according to recent polls from FiveThirtyEight. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, the only other candidate polling in double digits in the state, stands at 13.9%.
