The House Oversight Committee issued subpoenas on Wednesday to key members of the Biden family, including Hunter Biden, the president’s son, and James Biden, the president’s brother, along with their business associate, Rob Walker. This move comes after a series of investigations into the Biden family’s alleged foreign financial dealings.
According to Rep. Pat Fallon, R-Texas, who spoke on Newsmax’s “Chris Salcedo Show,” the committee has subpoenaed bank records from Biden family members eight times, each revealing a flow of foreign money into what Fallon referred to as the “Biden syndicate.” These records disclosed multiple bank accounts under personal names, as well as numerous shell companies.
“Honest people doing honest business don’t engage in these activities,” Fallon emphasized. “We still don’t have the complete picture of the Bidens’ actions, although it’s clear they were involved in influence peddling and selling access. I anticipate Joe Biden will hire legal counsel to prevent the truth from emerging.”
The subpoenas indicate a deepening scrutiny into the Biden family’s financial affairs, with the House Oversight Committee seeking clarity on the alleged influence-peddling schemes. Committee Chair Rep. Jim Comer emphasized their pursuit of transparency and accountability, underscoring their commitment to following the facts and delivering the truth to the American people.
