Former Vice President Mike Pence voiced his support for congressional Republicans who are pursuing an impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden. Pence emphasized the importance of addressing the ethical concerns and questions surrounding Biden and his family, which have cast a shadow over his administration.
Speaking on Newsmax’s “National Report,” Pence expressed his approval of the rejection of what he referred to as a “sweetheart plea deal” involving Hunter Biden. He stressed that such actions were crucial in addressing the growing concerns among Americans regarding unequal treatment under the law. According to Pence, this rejection marked a significant first step in rebuilding public confidence.
Pence also pointed out the mainstream media’s apparent neglect of the questions surrounding Biden’s actions during his tenure as Vice President, particularly in relation to his dealings with foreign countries and foreign nationals. House Republicans, Pence noted, are taking on the responsibility of bringing these matters to light, as they work diligently to make these issues known to the public.
In Pence’s view, initiating an impeachment inquiry is entirely appropriate in order to continue the process of transparency and accountability. He asserted that the American people have a rightful claim to know what is transpiring within their government. Pence commended Speaker Kevin McCarthy and Representative Jim Jordan, both of whom he referred to as old friends from the House of Representatives, for their dedication in bringing these facts to the forefront for the benefit of the American people.
